John came to the idea for Bishops Ridge Logistics while in college. Like many people, he attended a university in hopes of finding a career path to success, and like so many more, realized that in the modern world and economy a degree doesn’t always mean a good job. So, in his final semester he took a commercial driving course around his academic schedule. Soon, the idea began to form. What’s better than just taking a job for some company already being tossed around on wall street like a hacky sack? The answer in John’s mind was starting a company that would allow him to align himself with others who have the same desires and drive to build a life for themselves.

Life isn’t all work for John, part of his ethos is taking time to pursue his passions which include his family, camping, horses, music, and blacksmithing.
